Proprietary.
The Ford lug is a masterful design. Machined from aircraft aluminum and containing a brass insert that provides true axial alignment (the key for accurate tuning), it has no voids, will never rust, never pit. The Ford tube lug is much the same. Rather than an insert, it features a solid tube in various lengths depending upon the depth of the snare. Our lugs are, well, built Ford tough.
The Ford bracket elegantly identifies our brand.
The Ford 3-speed throw-off is engineered for us by Trick Percussion. Like our lugs, it is machined, not cast. We select only the finest components for our drums.
Last, but certainly not least, Ford timing belts. The webbed design is super strong, will not stretch, and allows for the snares to lie flatter on the head allowing for a richer snare drum sound.
